Preparing for publication
Open your app → “Distribution”. This tab contains the materials for your app's listing on the App Store and Google Play.
Publication platforms
Under “Publication platforms”, select App Store — iOS, Google Play — Android, or both stores. At least one platform must remain selected. Setup and service costs do not depend on the number of platforms.
Your selection is saved automatically and used the next time you click “Release application” or “Release update”. A release already requested keeps its original platforms; changing the checkboxes does not change that release. You can add the second platform for the next release.
If you publish using your company's accounts, connect only the accounts for the selected stores: Apple for iOS, Google for Android. For an existing release request, the connections section uses that release's platforms.
What to prepare
| Materials | Requirements |
|---|---|
| Name, short and full descriptions, keywords; for an update, release notes | Store text |
| Icon and screenshots | Images |
| Test account, support contact, document URLs | Access and documents |
Text fields are saved when you click outside them. Wait for image uploads to finish, then reopen the tab to check the saved materials.
The preview helps you assess the store listing's appearance, but it is not an exact copy of the App Store or Google Play.
Before requesting a release
Check that key website actions work, the test account is accessible, and document URLs open without signing in. Then request your first release or an update.
If you need store text in several languages or help with the icon and screenshots, agree on this with the SiteCargo team before release. Provide your logo, a description of the features, and brand colors; you will need to review and approve the prepared materials.
