Apple permissions SiteCargo needs
Choose the setup method in the Apple dialog under “Who will set up the connection?”.
| Method | SiteCargo role | Who supplies technical details |
|---|---|---|
| SiteCargo will set it up | Admin | SiteCargo specialist; the Individual owner creates signing files and APNs |
| Manual setup with limited permissions | App Manager with app access | Customer following the detailed guide |
Admin has access to all apps in the account. The role can prepare the listing and create a Team API Key after the owner enables initial API access. An Organization Admin can also create certificates, profiles, and APNs keys. An Organization App Manager needs Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles separately; APNs still requires the owner or an Admin.
Apple's Individual restriction: an invited Admin or App Manager does not join the Apple Developer team and cannot access Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. Creating App IDs, the Distribution certificate, two profiles, and APNs remains the owner's task. Our Admin can still prepare the listing and upload details in App Store Connect. Apple roles.
Only Account Holder requests initial ASC API access, accepts required agreements, and handles membership. Do not share Account Holder access, your main password, or 2FA code.
The SiteCargo switch saves the workflow preference; it does not grant or revoke store permissions. To reduce access, edit the user in Users and Access and tell our team. An app-specific password or Team API Key authorizes uploading; neither replaces Individual signing files. Full setup guide.
