Releasing your app
The first release starts with a request in SiteCargo and ends with publication on the App Store or Google Play.
Before requesting a release
Check that:
- the website opens over HTTPS and key actions work on a phone;
- the name, icon, menu, and permissions are configured;
- store text, images, and legal URLs are filled in on the “Distribution” tab;
- a test account is ready if key features cannot be checked without signing in;
- you have chosen a suitable publication option.
Material requirements are listed in Preparing for publication.
Create a request
- Open the draft and click “Release application”.
- Choose publication using your company's accounts or SiteCargo's.
- Review the one-time and monthly costs.
- Confirm the release.
The system creates the first release and a setup invoice. The button starts the process; it does not publish the app immediately.
What happens next
- If your internal balance is insufficient, pay the invoice remainder under “Billing and finances”.
- When publishing using your company's accounts, grant Apple and Google access.
- SiteCargo checks the settings and materials, then prepares the builds.
- Check the test build if the team provides a link.
- The app is submitted for store review.
- After publication, the available store links appear in your dashboard.
The current stage appears next to the app name, at the top of the “General” tab, and in emails. See the release status table for their meanings.
Payment
The first release remains “Awaiting payment” until fully paid. Your internal balance is applied automatically. After payment, the release moves to connecting company accounts or directly to building with SiteCargo's accounts.
The first month of service after publication is free. See Billing and payment for the full rules.
