Trends

The install chart shows the number of install events per day. The active users chart shows unique installations with activity events each day. Each installation is counted once per day.

A sharp install spike may indicate audience growth or repeated install events. If both charts drop to zero, check event sending in the current app version.

Geography

The report shows up to eight countries with the most unique active installations. The server determines the country from the public IP when events are sent, using a local DB-IP Country Lite database. Names appear in the dashboard's language.

If the country cannot be determined, the event goes into “Unknown”. This can happen with local IPs, missing geolocation data, or a temporary lookup error. Percentages use the total of the displayed countries. One installation may appear in several countries after a network change or when using a VPN. Events from an offline queue use the IP at the time the batch is sent.

Platforms

The chart shows unique installations grouped by the platform value sent by the app. Use ios or android for mobile apps; an event without a value goes into “Unknown”.

Each installation is counted once within each platform. Percentages use the sum of the chart values and are rounded to whole numbers.
