How the app creation process works

Creating an app involves several steps. You can save your settings and return to them later.

1. Create an account

Sign up for SiteCargo.

2. Connect your website

Enter your website URL. SiteCargo will normalize it, create an app, and try to identify common pages, such as the catalog, shopping cart, and profile.

3. Configure your app in the builder

Check the app name and domain, upload an icon, choose colors, and set up the menu. The mobile preview helps you see how the app will look before it is built.

We'll help you prepare your app for launch at no extra cost

  • We'll analyze your website.
  • We'll prepare settings tailored to your app.
  • We'll design a custom app icon based on your logo.
  • We'll write store listing text for the App Store and Google Play.
  • We'll prepare screenshots for publication.

This help is included in ongoing support and becomes available after you pay for the first month of service.

4. Prepare your store listing materials

Add a description and publication details, and upload screenshots.

5. Choose a publication option

Choose where to publish your app:

  • your company's accounts;
  • SiteCargo's accounts.

If you publish using your company's accounts, you need to grant the SiteCargo team the required roles in Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console.

6. Request a release and pay

After checking your settings, click Release application. SiteCargo will create a request for the first release and an invoice for the initial setup. The terms and pricing are shown before you confirm.

7. Build and store review

The team builds the app, provides a TestFlight build or APK if needed, and submits it to the stores.

Important: Apple and Google may request changes. This is a normal part of the review process.

8. Publication

After approval, links to the App Store and Google Play will appear in your dashboard. The app status will change to Published.

9. Support after release

After publication, you can:

  • send push notifications;
  • view analytics;
  • update your website content;
  • request app updates.

Important: Review times depend on Apple and Google. SiteCargo shows the current stage but cannot guarantee store review times.

Next step

Once you have signed up, create your first app.
