Menu troubleshooting

Problem	What to check
The bar is not visible	Enable “Show bottom menu” and add at least one item
“Add” is unavailable	The menu already has five items; remove an unused one
The name or URL does not save	Click outside the field, wait for it to save, and check for error messages
A different page opens	Check the path and website redirects. An external domain does not open as a regular menu item — see Link rules
The wrong item is highlighted	Check overlapping paths: the most specific one is selected. Parameters and anchors are not distinguished
A custom icon or color is not applied	The id field in NATIVE_NAV_BAR must match the item name. Check the SVG against the example
A value reverts after you change it in the form	Check the Ninja editor: JSON settings override the form
Clicking does not run JavaScript	Check the js: prefix, wait for the automatic preview refresh after saving, and test the handler
The bar covers a website button	Add bottom padding to the website's mobile layout or reposition its fixed elements

If the error occurs only in the built app, send support the app and OS versions, the item's URL, and a recording showing the error.
