Navigation and menus

The bottom menu supports up to five items. Each item opens a website page or runs JavaScript. Find these settings under “Native navigation” on the “General” tab.

Set up the menu

  1. Enable “Show bottom menu”.
  2. Click “Add”, choose an icon, and enter the item name.
  3. In the URL field, enter a website path, such as /catalog, or code with the required js: prefix, such as js:window.openAppSearch().
  4. Click outside the text field to save the changes. Icons are saved immediately.

If SiteCargo created a menu during website analysis, edit the detected items and add any that are missing. You do not need to create the app again.

Order, deletion, and visibility

New items are added at the end. The top-to-bottom order in the form corresponds to the left-to-right order in the app.

The trash icon deletes an item. The “Show bottom menu” toggle hides the entire bar while keeping the item list.

Appearance

Choose one of seven styles in “Menu appearance” and set:

  • the bar background;
  • the inactive icon and label color;
  • the active icon and label color.

Colors are saved when you close the picker. The result appears in the preview.

Set the accent pill or dot color separately through NATIVE_NAV_BAR_ACCENT_COLOR in the Ninja editor. You can also configure custom SVG icons and colors for individual items there. These settings match the exact item name, so update the JSON when you rename an item.
